Brian D. Stone, 41, is charged by Clearfield-based state police with felony rape-forcible compulsion, aggravated indecent assault (24 counts) and intimidate victim/witness as well as misdemeanor indecent assault (24 counts).

The assaults started around 2015 and continued through Jan. 25 in Boggs Township, according to the affidavit of probable cause filed with the office of Magisterial District Judge Jerome Nevling.

State police say the girl reported the most recent assault to a school official on Jan. 27 and then they contacted Clearfield County Children, Youth and Family Services.

On Jan. 28, a forensic interview was conducted with the girl who said she was assaulted every night when she was 7 or 8 years old. She said as she got older, it only occurred every one or two months.

When she was around 8 or 9 years old, she said Stone inappropriately touched her on the couch and promised to stop, but the assaults continued.

The girl said when she was around 11 or 12 years old, Stone made her touch him inappropriately, and on several occasions, he also assaulted her.

She said on Jan. 25, he approached her and when she tried to get away, he pushed her down onto the bed. He allegedly pulled down her underwear and assaulted her again.

The girl said anytime she started crying, Stone threatened to break her nose and warned her not to tell anyone about “their secret.”

Stone was arraigned at 6:05 p.m. Jan. 29 before Magisterial District Judge Mike Morris. He was housed in Clearfield County Jail in lieu of $250,00 bail.

Stone is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing at 8:30 a.m. Feb. 10 during centralized court.
