Jefferson County Woman Faces Charges for ‘Sexting’ With Teen

REYNOLDSVILLE BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – Charges have been filed against an area woman who allegedly sent nude photos and other messages of a sexual nature to a 15-year-old boy.

Court documents indicate the DuBois-based State Police filed criminal charges against 39-year-old Brandy Sue Pierce, of Falls Creek, on May 10, 2021.

According to a criminal complaint, on October 14, 2018, Brandy Pierce, who was 36 years old at the time, was exchanging Facebook messages with a known victim who was 15 years old.

According to the complaint, Pierce told the victim that another boy was texting her telling her to send the victim “nudes,” and the victim replied with “will you please.”

Pierce then allegedly sent photographs of her nude breasts to the victim via Facebook messenger.

The complaint notes the lower half of Pierce’s face is visible in one of the photographs, and Pierce was identified by both the victim and the victim’s mother while reviewing the victim’s Facebook messenger account with police.

According to the complaint, when police questioned Pierce about the incident, she admitted to sending the photos but said she didn’t know the victim’s age.

Police then spoke to the mother of the other boy, who had allegedly texted Pierce, and the mother said Pierce did know the victim’s age due to her having children in the same grade who had all lived in the same town.

The complaint notes that in further messages, Pierce also asked the victim about having football practice.

Police also found additional messages of an explicitly sexual nature between Pierce and the victim, according to the complaint.

The following charges were filed against Pierce through Magisterial District Judge David B. Inzana’s office on May 10, 2021:

– Unlawful Contact With Minor – Obscene and Other Sexual Materials and Performances, Felony 3
– Disseminate Explicit Sex Material Minor, Felony 3
– Criminal Use Of Communication Facility, Felony 3
– Corruption of Minors, Misdemeanor 1

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 12:15 p.m. on June 29, with Judge Inzana presiding.
