According to a criminal complaint, on Monday, May 10, Sugarcreek Borough Police received a call reporting an incident of a known female victim being harassed at her workplace in Sugarcreek Borough, Venango County.

The victim reported that on Friday, May 8, Dusty Perry went to her workplace and told her that he had a “crush” on her. He then remained at the business for a long period of time before being asked to leave by the management. The victim noted that he then returned later that night, after calling to make sure the manager was no longer there. He went to the restroom and was told to leave after he exited it, according to the complaint.

The victim said that she was then going toward the restroom, and Perry began to follow her, which frightened her, causing her to begin to cry. Perry was then told to leave again, but he remained at the business until approximately 9:30 p.m., despite being told to leave multiple times.

The victim told police that on Saturday, May 9, when she was at work again, the business received more than ten calls from Perry between 1:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. During the calls, he allegedly told the victim he “loved her” and “missed her” and began calling her “baby.” During the calls, Perry reportedly found out the manager was not at the business. He then went to the business again and gained entry, the complaint states.

According to the complaint, at the business, Perry picked up the victim off the floor and began kissing her with an open mouth. He also allegedly rubbed her breasts and buttocks and was “petting” her face, and made other indecent contact with the victim.

The complaint notes that the victim indicated she told Perry to stop on multiple occasions.

The victim reported that on Monday, May 10, Perry sat in his red Blazer-style vehicle in the parking lot of the business making calls to the business again. He allegedly asked if the manager was there and if he could see the victim. The manager then told him he was not permitted on the property, the complaint states.

According to the complaint, the victim told police that she is terrified for her life and “just wants this to stop.”

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on May 19 in Venango County Central Court with Judge Kirtland presiding.
