Indiana Man Under Investigation for Manufacturing Methamphetamine

INDIANA, Pa. – A 47-year-old Indiana man is under investigation for manufacturing methamphetamine at his White Township apartment.

On Tuesday at approximately 8:00 a.m., Troop A, Indiana Patrol Unit members responded to an apartment at 439 East Pike Road after receiving information regarding possible methamphetamine manufacturing occurring at the apartment.

Upon arrival, troopers obtained consent to search and located several items inside the apartment and outbuildings that were consistent with the clandestine manufacturing of methamphetamine. Among items seized were three “one-pot” labs, an acid generator, and related items.

The Pennsylvania State Police Clandestine Laboratory Response Team was summoned to the scene and safely processed, inventoried, and collected the contraband without incident.

The following felony charges are pending the results of laboratory analysis:

3. Title 35, Section 780-113.1(a)(3), Liquefied Ammonia Gas; Precursors and Chemicals, F
4. Title 35, Section 780-113(a)(30), Manufacturing a Controlled Substance, F
5. Title 18, Section 7512(a), Criminal Use of Communication Facility, F3
