CHERRYTREE TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Police are investigating a report regarding the sexual assault of a 13-year-old boy that occurred earlier this year in Cherrytree Township.
According to Franklin-based State Police, a known 13-year-old male victim from Kent, Ohio, was reportedly sexually assaulted at a location on Shreve Road, in Cherrytree Township, Venango County.
Police say the abuse allegedly took place sometime between 4:00 a.m. on May 14 and 8:00 a.m. on May 16.
According to police, the victim was assaulted by a known 13-year-old male suspect while the victim and the suspect were camping.
The investigation is ongoing.
