James W. “Jim” McCloskey Sr., 73, of Fisher, passed away Wednesday morning, December 1, 2021 at the Jefferson Manor in Brookville.
He was born on May 5, 1948 in Brookville; son of the late Thomas P. and Cecelia Donahue McCloskey.
Jim worked as a truck driver for 40 years until he retired.
He proudly served in the US Army.
Jim was of the Catholic faith. He was a life member of the Clarion VFW Post #2145 and was also a life member of the Gold Wing Touring Association.
Jim is survived by his son, James W. McCloskey, Jr. of Pittsburgh; his sister, Scholie Guziak and her husband, Ron, of Maryland; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his brother, David McClosky and his sister-in-law, Diana McCloskey.
The Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion is handling the arrangements.
Per James’ request, there will be no services.
Interment will take place in the Millcreek Presbyterian-Methodist Cemetery in Fisher.
