Man Accused of Strangling, Kicking Relative During Dispute in Venango County

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) – Police say charges are pending against a man accused of strangling and kicking a relative during a dispute that took place in Oil City on Sunday.

Around 5:54 p.m. on January 9, Oil City Police were dispatched to an undisclosed location in Oil City for a report of a domestic dispute.

Police say during the subsequent investigation, it was found that Kalib Campbell had strangled a relative and then kicked the same relative in the head.

According to police, Campbell was arrested and arraigned in front of Magisterial District Judge Andrew F. Fish on charges of strangulation, aggravated assault, false imprisonment, harassment, criminal mischief, reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
