Robert “Pard” Eugene Gustinbell

Robert “Pard” Eugene Gustinbell, 89, of Reynoldsville, PA, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, surrounded by family in DuBois, PA.

He was born on May 24, 1932, to the late Pard and Mary (Maxim) Gustinbell in Ernest, PA. Pard graduated from Reynoldsville High School and was an excelling player in the football program.

After high school, he proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict, with the US Navy. After his time in the military, for the remainder of his career he worked as a law enforcement officer both in Reynoldsville and for the railroad.

Pard was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Reynoldsville, as well as Sons of Italy, the Knights of Columbus, and the American Legion.

Pard is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family, in addition to his parents he was also preceded in passing by two sisters; Eleanor Yount and Madeline Krasinski.

A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, January 24, 2022, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 607 E. Main St., Reynoldsville, PA 15851, beginning at 11am and officiated by Father William Barron.

Military Honors will be rendered by the DuBois Area Honor Guard.

Interment will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Reynoldsville, Jefferson Co., PA.

Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
