Joyce Ann Beech, 73, of Rochester Mills, passed away at home on Friday, February 11, 2022.
She was born in Punxsutawney on August 07, 1948, a daughter of the late Amos Haines and Alice (Klein) Haines.
Joyce was a 1966, graduate of McKeesport High School.
On April 9, 1966, she married Roy George Beech.
Together, they enjoyed fifty-three years of marriage.
He preceded her in death on October 11, 2019.
Joyce worked in assembly at Zell Brothers in Red Lion, her husband Roy had also worked in the cabinetry company as well.
She later worked for Brogue General Store in Brogue, PA.
Mrs. Beech was a very supportive mother that encouraged strong values, hard work and determination in her daughters as they were growing up.
She was feisty and independent and could be the “Mama Bear” type if necessary.
She enjoyed embroidering in her younger years, she also liked to paint and birdwatch at the family farm.
She is survived by three daughters, Michelle McAllister and husband Ken of Jeannette, DeAnn Beech and Patrick Palmer of Leland, North Carolina, and Pamela Beech of Wrightsville, PA; four grandchildren, Asia (Kyle Wilson), Austin and Peter Rivera and Evan McAllister; one brother, Larry Haines and wife Kathleen of Hawthorne, Florida; four sister in-laws and one brother in-law on her husband’s side of the family; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Amos Haines, Jr. and son-in-law, Luis Rivera.
In accordance with Joyce’s wishes, there will be no visitation.
