Thomas M. Levenduski

Thomas M. Levenduski, age 96, of Penfield, PA, died February 16, 2022 at Pinecrest Manor after a lengthy illness.

A son of the late Paul and Gertrude (Buskirk) Levenduski, he was born on September 30, 1925 in Baumertown, PA.

On August 5, 1950 he married Anna May (Amoriello), who preceded him in death on January 31, 2022.

Besides his parents and his wife, Tom was predeceased by: two sons, Jerry and Tom Levenduski; a daughter-in-law, Mary Beth Levenduski; a great-granddaughter, Mary Elizabeth Bauer; a sister, Gula Watkavitch; and three brothers, Joe, George and Paul Levenduski.

Tom is survived by: two grandchildren, Jacqueline (Adam) Bauer of Kersey and Cappy Anna Levenduski of St. Marys; five great-grandchildren, Gavin DeFrain, Zaydon Levenduski, and Julian, Ariana and Lola Bauer; a special niece, Carla Wegemer; and many nieces/nephews and cousins.

Tom Served in the US Army, 8th Air Force, during WWII, as a Tail Gunner on B-17 Bomber flying seventeen mission over Germany and achieving rank of Sergeant.

He worked several years for Pennsylvania Railroad, five years at GE in Erie, eight years at St. Marys Clay Plant, thirty years at Airco Speer of St. Marys and twenty years as Security Guard for Metaldyne of Ridgway, retiring in 2015.

He was a member of the Penfield United Methodist Church and the Bennetts Valley American Legion.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing; enjoyed playing baseball in his youth; and served a Coach and Manager of Bennetts Valley Little League for twelve years.

Public visitation will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, at the Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home of Penfield, PA.

Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home, 12:00 noon Saturday, with Reverend Lorraine Knapp.

Military Honors will be accorded by the Bennetts Valley American Legion Post 978 Honor Guard.

Interment will take place in the Morningside Cemetery of DuBois, PA.
