Dean Richard Wooster, 71 of Rossiter, PA died on Friday, March 11, 2022 at Penn Highlands Hospital in DuBois, PA.
The son of Norman E. and Helen M. (Gisewhite) Wooster, he was born on September 8, 1950 in Clearfield, PA.
Dean served in the US Army from 1970 to 1972 during Vietnam.
On June 26, 1979, he married Annabel A. (Lewis) and they shared over forty-two years of marriage together.
He worked as a truck driver and equipment operator.
He was a rock truck driver for area strip mines.
Dean greatly loved his grandkids and his great-grandkids.
An outdoorsman, he was fond of animals and enjoyed raising pigs and deer, trapping; hunting; fishing and spending a lot of time in the woods.
He is survived by his wife Annabel of Rossiter, PA, his two daughters: Zondra Archie; Victoria Phillips (Ralph); his five step-sons: Dean Mumau; Kenneth Mumau; Dan Mumau; Glenn Mumau (Myra) and Jack Mumau (Mary Ann) and his two brothers: Kenneth Wooster (Mary) and Elmer Wooster (Ginger).
Dean was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Shirley Williams.
At Dean’s request, there will not be a visitation or service.
