Stephen Blair Willar, 60, of Sterling, VA passed away on April 21, 2022 surrounded by family and friends.
Steve was born in Bellefonte, PA on June 9, 1961 and was the beloved son of Dr. Sidney B. and Barbara C. Willar.
He was a member of the Class of 1979 at Punxsutawney Area High School in Punxsutawney, PA and attended the Pennsylvania State University in State College, PA.
Steve will always be remembered for his steadfast love of family, friends, and career.
Stephen served his country during a career at the Central Intelligence Agency for more than 31 years.
He applied his skills and energies across a number of Agency elements with distinction, earning more than two dozen awards and commendations for his many contributions to national security.
Steve is survived by his mother, Barbara Willar, of Reading, PA, his sisters, Cindy Wingenroth, wife of Troy Wingenroth of Lititz, PA and Susie Kresge, wife of Greg Kresge of Douglassville, PA.
Steve was also Uncle to Evan Wingenroth, Wyatt Wingenroth, Andrew Kresge and Matthew Kresge.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Sidney Blair Willar.
