Joseph “Joe” Charles Roush

Joseph “Joe” Charles Roush, 93, of Reynoldsville, PA, passed away during the late evening hours of Friday, May 13, 2022, while a resident at Penn Highlands Jefferson Manor in Brookville, PA.

Joe was born on January 25, 1929, to the late Clemson D. and Barbara (Borgert) Roush in Winslow Township, PA.

He proudly served his country with the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict.

Joe married Margie L. Wagner on August 12, 1967; Margie preceded him in passing on February 7, 2016.

He attended the Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Reynoldsville.

Joe worked with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation for twenty-two years.

Joe enjoyed playing cards and tinkering.

He also enjoyed spending time outdoors and was a seasoned gardener.

Joe is survived by one daughter; Carolyn B. (Ronald) Skaggs; one son; Joseph C. (Bonnie) Roush; one daughter in law; Cindy Bronk; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, Joe was preceded in passing by two sons; Michael T. Roush; William Bronk; two brothers; David C. Roush; Henry T. Roush; and two sisters; Mary E. Evans; and Florence M. Rotolo.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, May 20, 2022, from 11am to 1pm at the Snyder – d’Argy Funeral Home, 206 E. Main Street, Reynoldsville, PA 15851.

A funeral service will take place immediately following the viewing, beginning at 1pm and officiated by Pastor Sam Bundy.

Military honors will be rendered by the DuBois Area Honor Guard. Interment will take place at Lakelawn Memorial Park, Winslow Twp., Jefferson Co., PA.
