RIDGWAY, Pa. – Tricounty Rails to Trails is advising that miles 1 and 2 on the Ridgway end of the trail will be closed this weekend for trail restoration.
The trail can still be accessed from Island Run. A special thank you to Dalton Sheasley, owner of Fairview Asphalt Paving, for his support and help with the gravel replacement.
Restoring the entire length of the trail is a top priority for the Tricounty Rails to Trails Association – as well as a huge undertaking. If you or your organization are interested in sponsoring a mile of trail restoration, please reach out to a board member or contact us on our Facebook page.
Brockway Work Day: Saturday, June 18m from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Join Tricounty Rails to Trails for their Brockway Work Day. They will be working on brush cutting and painting. Please bring shovels, rakes and gloves if you can.
