Patricia Karen Brady

Patricia Karen Brady, 88, of Punxsutawney, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022, at Mulberry Square Elder care in Punxsutawney.

She was born in Punxsutawney on January 27, 1934, a daughter of the late Carl R. Stahl and Luella Alice (Madill) Stahl.

Pat was Lutheran by faith.

She worked as a Real Estate Agent for many years, she also served as a caretaker to the elderly in their home and was a Census taker prior to her retirement.

She had previously owned and operated Brady’s Bar in Anita as well as a pizza shop on Findley Street.

She enjoyed having all the neighborhood kids come to the house to spend time with her children as they were growing up.

Taking her grandchildren to Conneaut Lake was a favorite pastime for her.

Her enjoyments lately included watching the Pirates, the Steelers, QVC and keeping up with the times through Fox News.

She is survived by three children, Scott R. Brady of Reynoldsville, Timothy C. Brady and wife Kim of Smicksburg, and Vicki Bedell and husband Dave of Punxsutawney; ten grandchildren, Brandi Brady, Nathan Brady, Hailey Neal, Ashley Regan and husband Adam, Tricia Brady, Jacob Brady, Amanda Wachob and husband David, Samantha Frye and husband J.B., Michael Decker and wife Regina, and Amy Decker; five great grandchildren, Major and Beckham Regan, Mady and Ella Wachob and Brady Lavoie; one sister, Carolyn “Kay” Carroll of Pittsburgh.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Pamela Brady and a brother, Charles Stahl.

Friends will be received from 2-4 Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Greg Stiver.

Interment will be at Anita Community Cemetery, McCalmont Township.
