PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. (EYT) — A sweeping drug investigation led by the Pennsylvania State Police, Troop C, and involving multiple law enforcement agencies, has resulted in the arrest of 32 individuals in Jefferson and Clearfield Counties as of March 5th, 2024.
The year-long operation aimed to dismantle local drug trafficking activities, specifically targeting violations of the Controlled Substance, Drug Device and Cosmetic Act.
The collaborative effort included the Pennsylvania State Police, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department, Jefferson County District Attorney, Jefferson County Drug Task Force, Punxsutawney Borough Police, Reynoldsville Borough Police, Jefferson County Probation, Clearfield County District Attorney, and other local authorities.
The 32 apprehended individuals were among a total of 39 suspects identified in the investigation. Arrests were executed based on warrants for various drug-related offenses. Among those taken into custody were the following residents from several area communities.
