Cory R. Osier, 46, of Shippenville, passed away Friday evening, April 19, 2024, at Clarion Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center following a strong battle with cancer.
He was born on June 4, 1977, in Clarion; son of the late Stephen R. Osier and Debra L. Shook Osier, who survives him and resides in Shippenville.
Cory was Baptist by faith and was an avid sports fan.
In his earlier years, he worked at Sports Unlimited and enjoyed collecting sports cards and working and attending sports shows with his dad.
Cory loved watching the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Pittsburgh Pirates, and especially the Minnesota Vikings.
He also loved spending time with his friend, Steve, being with his family, listening to music, and mowing his grass.
In addition to his mother, Debra, Cory is survived by numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Stephen, his brother, Chad Osier, his paternal grandparents, Emery and Betty Osier, and his maternal grandparents, Albert and Virginia Shook, along with numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.
The Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion is handling the arrangements.
There will be no public visitation and a private service will be held with Rev. Jeffrey Bobin presiding.
Inurnment will take place in the Perryville Cemetery.
