Colleen Leslie Becker age 60 of Thomas Drive Brockway, PA, died on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at the DuBois Nursing Home.
Born on February 27, 1964, in Greenville, PA, she was the daughter of the late John C. and Patricia Jane Long Leslie.
Retired, she had been employed at Martino’s Bi-Lo and at McDonalds both in Brockway as well as being a homemaker.
She attended the Methodist Church in Crenshaw.
Colleen enjoyed sewing, crocheting, playing bingo, and decorating her home.
She was a huge John Wayne fan, loved to watch GunSmoke, and enjoyed collecting frogs.
Colleen is survived by her lifelong companion Blaine A. “Tink” Becker with whom she made her home; three daughters Shelia (Zachary) Lennox of Brockway, Malisha Snedden of DuBois, and Katee Snedden of Franklin, PA; sisters Darlene (Ray) Peterson of Transfer, PA, Yvonne (Tim) Beres of Greenville, PA, Dr. Betty (Larry) Beimel of Kane, PA; brothers Larry (Joan) Leslie of California, John (Judy) Leslie of Conneaut Lake, PA, Michael (Theresa) Leslie, Mark (Michelle) Leslie, Ralph (Vicki) Leslie all of Ridgway and Thomas Leslie also of Greenville.
She is also survived by five grandchildren Abby, Faye, Myra, Kolby, and Rylee as well as many, many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by a sister Martha Jane Miller, and a brother James Patrick Leslie.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 8 from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway.
A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
Burial will be in the Wildwood Cemetery in Brockway.
