Blair County Man Arrested for Rape of 5-Year-Old Girl

BLAIR CO., Pa. (EYT) – State police say a Claysburg man has been arrested for the alleged rape of a five-year-old girl.

According to police, 35-year-old Richard Sensibaugh was arrested on Saturday, April 3.

Around 9:30 p.m. on Friday, April 2, the mother of a five-year-old girl contacted Hollidaysburg-based State Police to report she found a video on Sensibaugh’s phone that showed him sexually assaulting the victim, according to investigators.

Police say the video showed Sensibaugh entering the victim’s bedroom while the victim was sleeping and sexually assaulting her.

The victim’s mother confronted Sensibaugh when he returned home, and he fled from the residence on foot before police arrived.

Hollidaysburg-based State Police, Greenfield Township Police, and Freedom Township Police then served an arrest warrant on Sensibaugh on April 3.

Police say Senisbaugh was taken into custody, without incident, following a foot pursuit and search of the area.

Court documents indicate Sensibaugh was arraigned in front of Magisterial District Judge Daniel C. DeAntonio at 6:30 p.m. on April 3, on the following charges:

– Rape of Child, Felony 1
– Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse With Child, Felony 1
– Aggravated Indecent Assault of Child, Felony 1
– Photograph/Film/Depict on Computer Sex Act – Knowingly or Permitting Child, Felony 1
– Child Pornography, Felony 2
– Indecent Assault Person Unconscious, Misdemeanor 1
– Indecent Assault Person Less than 13 Years of Age, Misdemeanor 1

Unable to post $200,000.00 monetary bail, he was lodged in the Blair County Jail.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on April 15, with Judge DeAntonio presiding.
