Florence H. Lewis, 97, formerly of Punxsutawney, died Thursday, April 29, 2021, at Wesbury Grace Health Center in Meadville, PA.
She was born November 10, 1923, in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late Alta M. (Horner) and William Hobba.
On December 27, 1940, she married Arnold L. Lewis, who preceded her in death on September 8, 1984.
Florence was previously employed at Pramco and Montgomery Wards in Punxsutawney.
She attended the St. Peters United Church of Christ in Elk Run.
She loved fishing, camping, gardening, and canning.
She is survived by a son Ronald Lewis of Weston, WV; seven grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law Delores Lewis.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Clifford Lewis and her sister, Helen Jordan.
A private service for her family will be held at the Deeley Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.
Interment will be in Lakelawn Memorial Park, Reynoldsville.
