Beatrice G. Larson, age 89 formerly of Sykesville, PA died Friday, November 12, 2021 at the DuBois Nursing Home.
Born on July 4, 1932 in Henderson Township, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ernie and Mary Alice (Kuntz) Lyons.
On September 18, 1950 she married Joseph Larson. He preceded her in death on October 22, 2007.
Beatrice retired from Ideal Products in Sykesville, PA after 40 years of service.
She enjoyed sewing and planting and caring for her flowers. Above all, she enjoyed babysitting for family & friends.
She is survived by 3 sisters (Florence Muth and Shirley Noble of both of DuBois, PA and Marilyn Bukousky of Troutville, PA),1 brother (Ronald Lyons of DuBois, PA), and a niece who she raised, (Tina Kiaiber).
Beatrice was also preceded in death by 2 brothers (Ernie and Charles Lyons).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 from 4 – 7 p.m. from the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 11 a.m. from the funeral home with Pastor Terry Felt officiating.
Burial will take place in Luthersburg Union Cemetery.
