Thomas A. Barr, age 65, of Medix Run, PA, died unexpectedly, at home, Wednesday, May 11, 2022.
A son of the late James M. and Marion S. (Sexton) Barr, he was born on January 26, 1957 in Welch WV.
Tom is survived by: two children, Jennifer (Salvadore Bigay) Barr of North Bellmore, NY and Joseph Barr of Brockway; two grandchildren, Olive Mary Alice Bigay and Ty Charles Barr; and a sister, Debbie (Gene “Moose”) Winchester of Caledonia.
Living most of his life in Medix Run, Tom worked as a Union Heavy Equipment Operator for many years.
He enjoyed his vehicles and working on vehicles, and mostly enjoyed living the quiet life in Medix Run.
There will be no public visitation.
The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 15, 2022 at the Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home of Penfield.
Funeral Services will be held, 2:00 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home with Pastor Missy Smith.
