Calvin E. Noal

Calvin E. Noal, 70, of Seneca, died peacefully with his wife by his side on Friday, April 21, 2023, at his home.

Born in West Homestead, on September 24, 1952, he was a son to the late Warren E. Noal and Linna I. Lusher Noal.

He was a 1971 Homestead High School Graduate.

He served in the US Army, active duty, from 1973 to 1976 as a wheel vehicle auto mechanic.

During his service, he served in Korea, and received the National Defense Service Medal, Sharpshooter Award for the rifle, and an Expert Award for the hand grenade.

Calvin was a member of Petrolia Lodge 363, F&AM, a past member of Duquesne-McKeesport 731, a member of the New Castle Consistory, and a member of the Shriners.

He was previously in the Horse Patrol, where he was the president for two years.

Mr. Noal worked for the Port Authority in Allegheny County in a variety of roles.

On November 10, 1973, he was married to the former Anita Virtzle, who survives.

They were just a few months shy of their upcoming 50-year anniversary that would have been this November.

In addition to his wife, Anita, he is also survived by a daughter, Samantha E. Noal of Seneca.

In addition to his parents, Calvin is preceded in death by one brother, Raymond E. Noal.

A visitation will be held at the Morrison Funeral Home on Sunday, April 23, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Funeral services will be held the following day, at the Morrison Funeral Home, on Monday, April 24, at noon, with an hour of visitation before the funeral.

Interment will be held in Rockland Cemetery with full military honors accorded by the V.E.T.S. Honor Guard.
