Norma J. Perry

Norma J. Perry, 87, of Franklin, died peacefully at 7:07 PM Saturday, April 13, 2024, in her home.

She was born September 13, 1936, in Franklin, a beloved daughter of the late Richard M. and Hazel E. Ross Crisman.

Norma was a 1954 graduate of Franklin High School.

She had worked for more than 40 years in the office at the former Joy Manufacturing Company of Franklin.

Norma was known for her big open heart and friendliness.

She was married on September 17, 1960, in the First United Methodist Church in Franklin to Leonard W. “Toots” Perry. He preceded her in death on May 28, 2018.

Norma is survived by her children: Stacy Shimko of Oil City and her son, Ryan; Kirk Perry and his wife, Merle of Chesterfield, VA, and their children: Michael and Jennifer; and Brian Perry and his companion, Christine Kostek and Brian’s
children: Nathaniel and Erica; in addition to one great-granddaughter, Emrie.

Also surviving are two brothers: Wayne Crisman and his wife, Barbara of West Monroe, NY; and Richard Crisman and his wife, Edith of Franklin.

Also surviving is Norma’s “special friend”, Chris Perry, in addition to many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no public visitation.

Burial will take place in Perry Cemetery at Fertigs, which shall be private.

Memorial contributions, if desired, may be directed in Norma’s name to the Venango County Humane Society, 286 South Main Street, Seneca, PA 16346.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Timothy E. Hartle Funeral Home, 1328 Elk Street, Franklin.
