Steve Edward Brown

Steve Edward Brown, 47, of Beaver, PA, formerly of Knox passed away after an extended illness at Passavant Hospital in Pittsburgh on April 26, 2024.

Born on September 25, 1976, in Oil City, Steve was the son of Edward Brown and Debra Dine Curran.

Steve graduated from Keystone High School and the Altoona Technology Center.

He worked in the medical equipment manufacturing field.

On November 14, 2014, Steve married Jennifer Lytle who survives.

Steve was a member of the Sons of The American Legion.

He enjoyed hanging out with friends, campfires, country music, and Bud Light.

Steve was a big Ford guy and loved going to antique car shows.

Steve is survived by his wife Jennifer Brown, a daughter Aleece Brown of Cortez, Co, a stepson Dylan Lytle of Beaver, his father Edward (Kathy) Brown of Shippenville, his mother Debra (James) Curran of Knox, two sisters Jamie (Chad) Zimmerman of St. Thomas, PA and Danielle Stanley of Knox, and a brother Matthew (Tracy) Buzikowski of Parsonfield, ME.

Also surviving are Steve’s grandmother Dolly Dine of Knox, three aunts Jean Shick of Tyler TX, Kim (Perry) Brindley of North Port, FL and Chris (Rich) Rex of State College, and two uncles Tom (Nancy) Brown of Knox and Jim (Darlene) Brown of Frankllin.

Steve was preceded in death by his grandmother Margaret Fair and his two grandfathers Westley Dine and Raymond L. Brown.

Friends will be received from 4 to 6 on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at the McEntire-Weaver Funeral Home, at 504 East Penn Avenue in Knox.

Funeral services will be held at 6 PM on Tuesday in the funeral home with Pastor Wade Barto officiating.

In lieu flowers, the family ask donations be made to the Sons of the American Legion, 70 Veterans Road, Knox PA 16232
