Alan James Hewitt, 51, of Mahaffey passed away on January 20, 2021.
Many of his friends also knew him as “Big Al” and “Brother Al.”
Alan was born on June 19, 1969, to the late Charles Hewitt and Jacqueline Hewitt, in Clearfield. He graduated from Purchase Line High School in 1987. Alan spent 27 years of his life in Orlando, FL doing the things he loved – driving trucks and heavy equipment, and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles – before returning to Banner Ridge in Mahaffey, where his heart never left.
Alan was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother, son, Alan (“A.J.”) Hewitt; grandsons Rylan and Kanon; brother, David (Jeanne) Hewitt; sister, Mary Boyer; brother, Thomas (Amber) Hewitt; and nephews, Riley, Brae, Remy, and Cash.
Arrangements are entrusted to Waldron Funeral Home in Mahaffey. A private service for friends and family will be held later this year. Memorial contributions may be made to Motorcycle Missions.
