Donna Pauline Frantz, 78, of Punxsutawney, passed away on Wednesday, December 01, 2021, at Indiana Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Punxsutawney on December 25, 1942, a son of the late Clifton Wineberg and Mildred (Orvetta) Wineberg.
Donna attended the Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church.
On June 2, 2003, she married William Lester Frantz, Sr., he survives and resides in Punxsutawney.
Donna could be found helping her husband Bill in his excavating business or opening and closing graves.
She worked side by side with him until the job was complete, no matter what the temperature was.
She was a very hard worker and never complained, she always had a gentle smile on her face and was soft spoken.
She enjoyed working and going to Pizza Town every Sunday for dinner with her husband.
Friends will be received from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, December 5, 2021, at Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Doug Wolfe.
Interment will follow at Ridgmount Cemetery, Bell Township.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of choice.
