Veda Ann Smith, 75, of Stump Creek, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at Penn Highlands DuBois.
She was born in Renova, Pennsylvania on June 27, 1946, a daughter of Gladys Mae (Knickerbocker) Smith, who survives and resides in Stump Creek and the late Ellis Donald Smith.
Veda enjoyed gardening, flowers and watching the birds.
She really loved and enjoyed her cat Margarita.
In addition to her mother, Gladys, she is survived by one sister, Jane L. Dixon and husband Dale of Sykesville; and one brother, Ronald Smith and wife Linda of Punxsutawney; several nephews and one niece.
Friends will be received from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Big Run.
A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. at the funeral home officiated by Pastor Barry Fillman.
Interment will be at Lakelawn Memorial Park, Reynoldsville.
