Paul E. “Ed” Shick, Jr., 63, of Rimersburg, PA, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at Penn Highlands DuBois.
He was born on June 21, 1960 in Butler, PA; the son of Florence June (Crissman) and Paul E. Shick, Sr.
Ed worked as a forklift operator with Matson Lumber in Brookville.
He was a member of Rimersburg Rod and Gun Club and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and farming.
Ed loved coon hunting and spending time with his dogs, Lena and Libby.
His memory will be cherished by his loving wife, Sheri K. (Rummel) Shick, whom he married on April 1, 1979; daughter, Tara Rupert and husband, Dave of Rimersburg; his son, Jeff Shick and fiancée, Amber Jewell of Rimersburg; grandchildren, Gabe Rupert, Alia Rupert, Brenden Shick, Annabella Shick, Emily Jewell, and Ashley Jewell; and his great-grandchildren, Bo Jewell and Rosey Jewell.
Ed is also survived by his brother, Kenneth B. “Butch” Shick and wife, Diane of Widnoon, and two sisters, Patricia A. Foust and Deborah L. Best and husband, Dale all of Rimersburg.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Dick Foust.
Services will be private.
