Mark R. Clinger

Mark R. Clinger, 62, of Strattanville, passed away Wednesday evening, April 17, 2024 at UPMC Magee-Women’s Hospital in Pittsburgh surrounded by his family.

He was born on November 30, 1961, in Clarion; son of the late Lewis R. and Shirley A. Burns Clinger.

Mark attended Clarion-Limestone High School.

He worked as a self-employed auto mechanic for many years until his health started to decline.

Mark loved watching racing on the internet, especially Hunt the Front.

He also enjoyed spending time with his best friend and dog, Buddy.

He is survived by his brother, Rick (Michele) Clinger of Strattanville; his sister, Michelle (Brian) Spence also of Strattanville; a nephew, Jason (Melody) Clinger of Strattanville; and his nieces, Nicole (Amanda) Clinger of Clarion and
Megan (Jeff) Bartley, Mandy Godfrey, and Mindy Spence all of Strattanville; along with numerous great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by 2 infant brothers, an infant sister, and his dog, Buddy.

The Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion is handling the arrangements.

There will be no public visitation.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
