Robert C. “Bob” Kemmerer

Robert C. “Bob” Kemmerer, age 85, of Dewey Circle Ridgway, PA; died on Monday, March 25, 2024 at Penn Highlands DuBois.

Born on May 6, 1938 in Brookville, PA; he was the son of the late Grover and Nellie Armstrong Kemmerer.

On November 4, 1996 he was married to Mary Stevenson and she survives.

Retired, Bob had been employed at Alltel for 38 years.

He was protestant by faith and served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Era and was active during the Berlin Crisis.

Bob was a member of Parson-Marnati Post #95 of the American Legion and was a lifetime NRA member.

He was an active member at the Brockway Historical Society and was involved with the revitalization of the Pioneer Cemetery in Brandy Camp, Elk County.

He also enjoyed racing, especially NASCAR and taking care of his home.

In addition to his wife Mary, he is also survived by a sister Agnes Froberg of Maryland and several nieces and a nephew.

Along with his parents, he is also preceded in death by a sister Phyllis Dusch and a brother Monte Kemmerer.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 29 at 11:00 AM in the chapel at Beechwoods Cemetery with Rev. Terry Felt officiating.

Full Military Honors will be accorded by Parson-Marnati Post #95 of the American Legion.

Burial will follow there in Beechwoods Cemetery.
