Eloise Irene Hoover, age 94, of Miola Rd. Lucinda, died 4/12/24 at Water Run Landing in Clarion.
Born in Clarion on June 21, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Clair Gilmore and Bessie Bliss.
Eloise was a RN, BSN, worked for the Clarion Area Schools and the Oil City Hospital.
She was a member of the Helen Furnace United Methodist Church.
Survivors include 2-brothers, Fred Gilmore of Lucinda and Terry (Pam) Gilmore of Lucinda, two sisters, Jo Anne (Dean) Simpson of Lucinda and Barbara Hullings of Kane, a cousin – Don McCleary of Clarion, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Clair Gilmore JR., a sister, Beth Davis, and a sister in law, Carrol
Gilmore.
Memorial Services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, April 20, 2024 at the Scotch Hill Methodist Church with Rev. Melissa Krsus
officiating.
Interment will be in the Helen Furnace Cemetery.
