Paul J. Yount, 79, Reynoldsville, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at McKinley Health Center in Brookville.
Born May 22, 1944, in DuBois, he was the son of the late Chester J. and Eunice (Smith) Yount.
On May 4, 1968, he married Beverly (Ball) Yount at Temple Baptist Church. She preceded him in death on December 15, 2014.
Paul graduated from the DuBois Area High School.
He retired from Penn Traffic after 45 years as a warehouseman.
Paul enjoyed gardening, traveling, going to Altoona Curve games and casinos, spending time with his family, and watching the Steelers.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Reynoldsville.
Paul is survived by three children, Paula (Mark) Morgan, DuBois, Stephanie (Ken) Stuart, Treasure Lake, and Eric Yount, Reynoldsville; four grandchildren, Derick (Kait) Munoz, Ryan (Ashley) Munoz, Jennifer Stuart and her fiancé, Caleb Price, and Joshua Stuart; three great-grandchildren, Isaac, Blake, and Payton Munoz, and his brother, Clair (Gale) Yount, OH.
In addition to his parents and wife, Paul was preceded in death by a son, Randy Lee Yount.
Friends and family will be received Friday, March 29, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, March 30, 2024 from 1-2 p.m. from the Adamson Funeral Chapel & Crematorium.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the funeral chapel with Pastor Kevin Orndorff officiating.
Interment will be in Salem Cemetery.
