Stephen George Santus, of Clarion, entered into eternal rest on April 17, 2024, at Butler, Pennsylvania.
Stephen was the eldest child of Stephen and Wanda Ease Santus, born on July 26, 1947, in Butler.
Stephen graduated from Butler High School, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Grove City College, and a Master of Business Administration from Clarion University of Pennsylvania.
He retired from chemical engineering positions at refineries including Witco in Bradford, and Pennzoil in Rouseville.
Stephen was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Clarion, where he had previously served as a lector and Eucharistic minister.
Stephen married Roberta Laird on July 9, 1994; she survives.
He is also survived by siblings Vincent (Elaine) Santus, David (Norine) Santus, and Mary (Wayne) Harrison.
He is also survived by nieces Kristine Santus Schonder and Cassandra Santus, and nephews Jason Minehart and Brian Minehart.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Joanne Santus, in January 2024.
Friends will be received at 10:00am until the time of the Mass on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory Inc: 330 Wood St. Clarion, PA 16214.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am at Immaculate Conception Church in Clarion, officiated by the
Very Reverend B. LaMounte Sayers.
